When I switch on my Longarm machine “Daisy” in the morning I like to leave it to warm up for about 15 to 20 minutes. So I like to make a block or two of a project.I only work on these blocks while I am waiting for Daisy.They are made up of reproduction type fabrics I have left over from other projects over the years.Helenjuuldesigns.com has fantastic little inexpensive bundles of Fat 8th I also like to use on these kind of projects if my stash is short on colours.Some are more perfect than others but I don’t worry too much if there are some imperfections.I think a sampler quilt is the best way to go when only doing a block or two a day.This is the quilt I am making , Lori Smith is one of my favourite quilt designers.
