Lets learn about cut and past applique and how to keep your quilt super soft.

Or wall hangings.
A small cosy class with 4 students, I prefer to work with 4 to 6 students only, I feel we get a lot more from the class this way, I can give the students lots of individual attention.

Susanne’s blue and cream sampler quilt.
Simply quilted with an all over meander in the centre, tiny loops in the small border and swirls in the cream points.
Grethe’s lovely queen size drunkards path from a class I taught at Helene’s shop in kolt.
All over quilted with a feather meander.

Hanne made a large twin size quilt.
Karen’s Irish chain in lovely soft reproduction fabrics.

Hamburg, mini retreat.

My favourite time of year, I get to teach quilting and have a wee holiday at the same time.

The nicest group of German ladies.
We stayed here on a working farm.
The group made all the food.
We had a lovey room to work in.
We worked on a triple Irish chain quilt.
Everyone’s were very different.
Concentration.
We ate cake.
Walked in the beautiful garden.
Wish I could get my verbena to grow like this.
I will have to make one of these for my garden…..
A perfect weekend, it was hard to believe I was working.

I had a great day working with Karin, Carina and Bettina on the amazing modern quilt Drunkards Path.

The workshop includes pre-cutting your fabric before the day so you are ready to sew when you come to class!

They are cut on the AccuquitGo so they are very precise and don’t need to be trimmed, it’s a win win situation don’t you think.

Jeg havde en dejlig tid med at undervise i Drunkards Path-quilten i Helenes butik i lørdags. Kursisterne lærte hurtigt teknikken, og deres farver og stofvalg var så smukke.

I had a wonderful time teaching the Drunkards Path quilt at Helene’s shop on Saturday. The students learned the technique quickly and their colors and fabric choices were so beautiful.
Remember, if you take this class and buy your fabric in Helene’s shop, you get all your pieces pre-cut!
