Hanne’s gorgeous leaf quilt.

I’m totally loving this bright and colorful leafy quilt I quilted recently for Hanne Allen.
The feather border is mirrored by a row of feathers quilted in the blocks and then the rest of the leaves are quilted in a simple design.
Making this lovely quilt super soft and cuddly.

Karins fantastiske frakke.
Karin og jeg arbejdede sammen om at lave denne smukke quiltede frakke, hun lavede den efter en quilt, hun havde lavet for nogen tid siden, og den indeholdt mange gode minder for hende, så den var det perfekte valg til en frakke. Jeg lærte lige så meget af Karin som hun gjorde af mig, mens vi lavede denne frakke.

Karin’s fabulous coat.
Karin and I worked together to make this gorgeous quilted coat, she made it sing a quilt she had made some time ago, the quilt held a lot of good memories for her so it was the perfect choice for a coat. I learned as much form Karin as she did from me while we made this coat.

Grethe’s beach quilt

Grethe’s fabulous Swoon quilt.
Grethe made this quilt at my studio in Kolind, she wanted a nice big beach quilt for the summer and this quilt fits the bill perfectly. There are little pockets on the corners to put stones into to stop it blowing away when you of swimming or walking, what a luxurious way to sunbathe or wrap up if a cool breeze blows in from the sea.
Grethe’s quilt was quilted by Julia Triston ( https://www.facebook.com/JuliaTristonTextiles ) at DaisyQuiltsForYou on the Moxie Longarm, Poppy.
A fabulous quilt made perfectly by Grethe who has only been quilting for a few months.

Grethe lavede denne quilt i mit atelier i Kolind, hun ville have en stor strandquilt til sommeren, og denne quilt passer perfekt til det. Der er små lommer i hjørnerne, som man kan lægge sten i, så den ikke blæser væk, når man svømmer eller går, og det er en luksuriøs måde at solbade på eller pakke sig ind, hvis der blæser en kølig brise fra havet.
