I used a fat quarter bundle in brown, yellow and green, I just kept on making the 4 inch finished blocks until I had enought for a throw.

I added a splash of black to the blocks to give defination.

I made a flying goose borderwith the leftover fabricand thought they looked better with a 1 inch border of black around them, I also used the same black for the binding.

I quilted it with gray and yellow thread, my first plan was to put a mini feather design in the gray squares but when I started it just did not look very nice as the PP blocks are floating on the gray and it left gaps so out came the seam rippper and back to the drawing board.

In the end I decided to use the mini feather design on the PP blocks in yellow thread and meander the gray.

A mini feather and bubble design on the outer border, swirls on the geese and a loop design on the mini black borders.

I am happy with the over all effect, you can see the quilting better on the back.
