Over my years of quilting I’ve picked or been gifted by friends pieces of gorgeous oriental fabric. Every morning when I open up my studio I switch on Daisy longarm who likes at least 15 minutes to wake up and warm up, during this time I will piece a block or two of one of my projects. This was a good opportunity to pull out and use some of this fabulous fabric. It’s made up of lots oriental prints combined with foundation pieced New York Beauty blocks to create this quilt. The pattern is the Emperors Wheel quilt pattern, I bought it from an Etsy shop “Patchwork Fun”. Lap size quilt – 50″ x 61″.
