Quilted waistcoats for my mum

I made these two waistcoats for my mum, she loves to garden even in the winter, I thought they would keep her back warm under her jacket.

Waistcoat one, is longer with a higher neck line and deep pockets, for all the bits of string etc that gardeners need.

Waistcoat two, is a little smaller and shorter than the first one, with a lower neckline, it still has the essential deep pockets.
My mum lives in the country side in the north of Scotland where the cold weather can be extreme, so I made sure the shorter one had an extra long back.
Hopefully these will keep her extra cosy.
I used big poppers for the closures as I thought it would be easy and quick to open and close.
