En lys og enkel blok at lave.

Klip 8 x 3,5″ firkanter og 8 x 2″ firkanter i grønt.
Cut 4 x 6.5″ x 3.5″ rectangles in background fabric and 4 x 3.5″ x 2″ rectangles in gold.
Cut 8 x 3.5″ squares and 8 x 2″ squares in green.

Use your favourite marker to draw a line from corner to corner on all the green squares.

Place a green 3.5” square right sides together on top of the background rectangle and a 2” square the golden rectangle, stitch at the top of the marked line, and press.

Cut off the excess fabric, leaving a quarter inch seam, press against the corner.

Repeat with the remaining squares at the other end of the rectangle.

Make 4 units 6.5″ x 3.5″ and 4 units 3.5″ x 2″.

Læg alle brikkerne ud som vist ved at bruge 4 x 2″ guldkvadrater, 1 rød 3,5″ kvadrat og 3,5″ x 2″ enhederne.
Let’s make the inner star first.
Lay out all the pieces as shown using 4 x 2″ gold squares, 1 red 3.5″ square and the 3.5″ x 2″ units.

Sew in rows as shown above.

Gentag nu processen med baggrundsstoffets firkanter, de større enheder og den indre 6,5″ firkantede stjerne.
Cut 4 x 3.5” squares of background fabric.
Now repeat the process with the background fabric squares, the larger units and the inner 6.5″ square star.

Pres den dobbelte stjerne på 12,5″ i kvadrat, og du har endnu en stjerne til din Lancashire quilt.
Sew in rows to finish.
Press the double star and square to 12.5″, and you have another star for your Lancashire quilt.
